Grace Liu Garib was born in Taiwan where she began painting at the age of seven. Her beautiful works of art reflect a background in traditional Chinese painting and reveal her love of nature. Grace has received numerous awards for her magnificent paintings, and is the recipient of the "National Taiwan Artists' Award." Grace's paintings come in several ways. "Water on Silk, and/or Oil on Canvas." Using her own special technique, she applies the medium directly to the painting surface without any preliminary drawing. Results come spontaneous, flowing work of art that captures the essence of her subject.
